Place Fortune 50 mission-driven brands and non-profits at the center of culture through social-first, end-to-end, serialized, branded content experiences. Clients: IBM, Marriott, Proctor & Gamble, Brookings Institute, University of Phoenix, 10/7 Network.

Manage budgets and led/won business pitches from $250k-$15mm.

Led a team of 40 experts in design, writing, strategy, and data science with my creative culture methodology called Work From Heart™

Launched Legendmakers™, a Far From Timid community that includes a magazine, lifestyle retail collection, and monthly live show–boosting awareness and lead generation by 223%.

Project Highlights:

  • In partnership with Saville Productions, created and produced the Cannes Nominated 5B Brand Film for Johnson and Johnson: A story about heroic nurses during the AIDS pandemic. $11.75mm+ in media value and over 987mm social impressions. 
  • Designed omnichannel brand launch for the 10/7 Network, a non-profit combating global hate through TikTok-based education, insights, and storytelling. Developed creative for primetime TV, brand, merch, website, and over 20 TikTok content series.’
  • Spearheaded University of Phoenix’s successful pandemic response to increase enrollment through brand strategy, 12 branded content franchises, and designing a new editorial site. Increased enrollment by 28% and content production by 600%.
  • Helped GenZ fall in love with democracy with an omnichannel, non-partisan We The Purple brand initiative for Brookings Institute. Developed content strategy and partnerships as well as brand and marketing initiatives including website and campaigns. 
  • Automated internal creative processes and client management using an advanced AI tech stack, increasing productivity by 21% in brand strategy, concepting, and post-production

Global Editor-In-Chief   |  IBM   |  New York City  |  March 2017 - March 2019
Introduced IBM to a new generation and deepened brand affinity through a full-stack studio approach creating 360 campaigns live brand experiences, serialized content, and a comprehensive rebrand that improved NPS by 300% and over $700mm in pipeline. 

To promote the holistic IBM story, I led the creation of IBM’s global content platform, THINK, reviving their 1935 magazine of the same name. Led editorial board across the C-Suite, brand and editorial strategy, guidelines, taxonomy, SEO strategy. 

Upskilled a team of over 300 content leaders across the globe on storytelling and content creation with ‘Make Less Matter More.’

Created an omnichannel storyline and content strategy for IBM Services, Dream It Done, including a brand activation at IBM’s yearly global conference, THINK. This campaign brought in over $700mm in pipeline.

Other award-winning multi-format content and brand stories include: 6 Degrees of Automation (directed by Banking on Bitcoin’s Chris Cannuciari), Wake Up Call, and Quest For Flawless.

Transformed Marriott from a hotel company to a travel company through an always-on 24/7 newsroom and brand studio focused on data-driven storytelling. Drove substantial revenue growth while upskilling a team of over 40 writers, designers, editors, and producers.

Launched Marriott Traveler, Marriott’s editorial platform, generating over $20mm in yearly revenue, partnering with influencers. The launch included over 300 peices content across 3 cities.

Led the award-winning DEI omnichannel influencer storyline, #LoveTravels, increasing revenue 13x year-over-year.

Led Film series, Two Bellman generating over 6mm views on YouTube, 247mm PR impressions worth $34mm in ad value.

Spearheaded multi-year loyalty programs with award-winning campaigns: Make It Happen, Within Your Reach, Born To Explore.

Designed Marriott’s newsroom identity, Marriott Hotels welcome kits and other on-property collateral.

Built a boutique and award-winning (now-acquired) digital brand innovation agency with a foothold on digital brand launch and relaunch of funded start-ups and legacy Fortune 500 brands. Oversaw operations including payroll, hiring, staffing, and creative ops. Brought in over $2mm in accounts by year two through prior CMO relationships I built.

Helped Doctors Without Borders rewrite food aid policy with social-first and Emmy-nominated campaign, Starved For Attention. Launched with 7 brand films produced by elite photojournalists like Ron Haviv, Jessica Dimmock, and Marcus Bleasedale and a 6-city event brand activation that began at the New York Times Center, hosted by journalist Ann Curry.
